Street Shoot: Las Vegas Strip & Pinon Hills

As someone pointed out to me that it’s been over a MONTH since my last post, I have since slapped myself across the face and had a venti Americana.  al;dkfja;ldkfja;ldkjasdfjkl;asdf Ahhh, yes.  So last month I drove out to this little convention for WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) and met up with some old friends and made some new ones.  Umm, advice, you can’t see it all in one day.  Sooo, next year I’ll have a better post on WPPI  and until then I got some street shots.  I know, I know, “hey Joel, I thought you are to supposedly some type of person photographer?”  But I like the inanimate stuff that isn’t sarcastic with me.  Sue me…

As my Chucks travel the world.

The new Aria hotel ain’t half bad, if you’re into that cool contemporary stuff.  Not me…

So creative, ain’t I?

The long and winding road…   …dun-dun, dun-dun.

Shortly after my Vegas trip I was in San Diego for intimate family shoot and on my drive home got caught in the snow.  Stopped at a local restaurant in Pinon Hills near Wrightwood, whipped out my tripod, took two pictures and couldn’t feel my feet.  Score.

You can clearly see how well insulated my feet were from the fresh powder.  Toasty.

Jaemi SUh - You’re Las Vegas Strip photos are ridiculous! Great composition, great lighting! Good stuff Joel!

Christina Dely - Great shots Joel! So jealous you made it out to WPPI! How was it? What presentations did you attend?

admin - Thanks Jaemi, we should get together some time and do some street shooting dude!

admin - Oh Christina, I wish I had stayed for some classes or presentations but I didn’t even bother with those unfortunately. Next year it’s on for the whole week of WPPI, and I expect to see you there! 😉

Ish Rios - Dude photos looook sweeeet!!
