I don’t think I can say I’ve ever been up this early to shoot. The sky was still clinging to the night as we arrived to San Fernando Mission to shoot Diana and Brian’s engagement shoot and the cold hit us like a brick wall. But they were troopers and lucky me, I wore shorts. Once the soft light began to reach into Misson, I couldn’t stop shooting. Diana was trembling but sucked it up and kept going! Brian held her close, kept her warm and they just ran with it.
I felt like I could push them a little harder than usual since Diana is my sister-in-law, but they gave back in every way. With no one in sight it was a dream to have the place to ourselves to do as we pleased with no stragglers. I can get used to early morning shoots!
