I’ve known Ana just shy of 10 years, and Ana can hardly recognize me without a camera infront of my face. Yeah, It’s always been that way. Come to think of it, I’m not sure anyone can pick me out in a line-up. It’s been a long time that we’ve spoke of the day she would get married. It’s not a far away date, just around the corner and I don’t think I’ve ever seen her so happy. Ana is always the smile you can depend on, but this time she smiles for herself and I couldn’t be happier for her and Diego. Diego, is a quiet, stoic gentleman. He doesn’t seem to talk to Ana, he whispers, she giggles and they simply carry on without any regard to the world around them. Believe it or don’t, this place was packed with hikers and they didn’t flinch or wait til no one was looking. I think I coined the phrase on our shoot, “Grossly-Cute.” I don’t write this stuff down, it just comes to me! I know, comedic genius!
You can’t really tell, but Diego is a bit of a cowboy. I know what you’re thinking, ‘where’s his cowboy hat?’ Apparently, cowboys can forget it at home too. Who knew?
